In addition to these, Avolites will be showing it’s full range of powerful and intuitive lighting consoles – Azure, Sapphire, Pearl and Diamond 4 – which will all be demonstrated on the stand. The whole family of rugged Avolites ART digital dimmers will also be there.

The latest release in Avolites' innovative ART 2000 digital series, the ART 2000i is aimed at theatrical, architectural, leisure and retail applications.
The Avolites ART2000i Install has been launched to offer clients a total Avolites solution for installation as well as for popular live and multi-purpose venues. Also, as Avolites dimmers are available in over 40 countries world-wide and are the industry standard for touring and live markets, it's only natural to apply proven technology to new areas.
The ART 2000i Installation dimmer has the usual high specification and is available in modules of 24 x 16 Amp units, 12 x 32 Amp, or a combination of these two modules. |

| The 48-in-to-48-out Hot Patch option is a very cool facility for theatre and other applications requiring flexibility, removing the hassle of the retrospective installation of a custom hot patch - often discovered to be needed later!
The ART2000i Install, designed with all lamps terminating in the Top Box, allows the installation of wall units at the early ages of the site build, the installation of electronics in a dust-free zone near completion and, once in place, the disconnection of each Live and Neutral conductor for simple and timesaving annual (mandatory) checks.
Fundamental to the ART2000i Install system is its low cost expansion.
A master 24 channel system can take control of a further 24 channels of dimming, fitted into a similar sized unit, without the cost of all the control electronics. |

Pearl 2004 |

Also launching at PLASA 2002, and first seen at the ABTT show, is the Avolites Pearl 2004, an updated and streamlined version of the Pearl 2000.
The Pearl 2004 uses new technology and offers a host of improvements, including end cheeks in a stylish metal impregnated material, and Cue Roller in silver.
The elegant two-speed encoder knobs - custom designed and manufactured for the Diamond 4 console - are exactly the right weight, and the optical encoders themselves are still the smoothest in the business!
The modernised front panel uses the same elegant, highly durable, reverse printed, polycarbonate laminate technology as found on the Diamond 4 console.
Pearl 2004 also uses the same professional master faders as the D4 for the 15 Cue Playbacks and Master Faders.
On the output panel, 2,048 DMX Channels are provided on 4 separate DMX connectors, and the internal software OS has been upgraded to the 2004 version with many enhancements including the Colour, Gobo and Beam Tables. |

Free Pearl Simulator Software |

All Pearl 2004 consoles are supplied with a free suite of PC software, also launched at PLASA 2002.
The Pearl Simulator, a useful, timesaving free software download provides a virtual interface for Avolites' popular Pearl 2000 console.
This incredible photo-realistic software enables LD’s, programmers and operators to start programming a Pearl without a physical console, or to edit existing shows, saving data to a Pearl compatible floppy.
Pearl Simulator is designed to work with the Avolites Visualiser emulation system – uniting both the console and lighting rig in a virtual environment. This is invaluable for situations where programming and set up time is at a premium. Down time can also be optimised and used efficiently by e.g. on long haul plane journeys or travel days on the bus. A fully working “Visualiser Lighting Rig” is now bundled as part of the free Pearl Simulator download.
These 2 applications may be used in a number of ways, from editing and updating shows, to learning how to program, or to just using the pre-programmed "show" file to fill the console with a variety of effects.
Access to the full Avolites Visualiser system allows you to build your own lighting design in the virtual Vis Theatre and start programming from a PC.
And also …..
The “Avolites Cache Builder” is another free download, letting you load the consoles just with the fixtures being used, rather than being offered the full personality database of over 500.

It’s a natural development to apply that proven technology to new areas for the Avolites brand - like installation. The ART 2000i Installation dimmer has the same high specification as other dimmers in the ART 2000 range. It is currently available in modules of 24 x 16 Amp units or 12 x 32 Amp, and each Avolites ART Installation System is available in hybrid mixes of the two modules. |

Avolites’ next major step forward in lighting control is its new generation of top-level lighting console - the Diamond 4.
The Diamond 4 is designed for large-scale shows, festivals, concerts, events and multi-purpose venues. It addresses the needs of exacting environments needing fast, accurate and powerful control of numerous intelligent lights, wide arrays of conventional fixtures and other DMX devices.
The D4 builds on the spectacular success of Avolites’ Diamond 3 console, incorporating many of the D3’s popular ground-breaking features. The feedback from Avolites’ close, hands-on integration with console users and live situations is at the essence of the D4’s brief. As a result, a host of creative ideas has been fed into the console’s design.
The D4 addresses the whole spectrum of production situations. For those with more time, the D4’s direct access control surface offers intuitive and fluid programming, realising the full potential of the design. Conversely, for those time-pressed moments, when an LD has just minutes to programme a spectacular show, the D4 offers immediate access to a powerful 'instant' toolkit
